Our New Playground

After many years of planning and fundraising the school has finally received enough donations to build a new playground structure. The original playground was built out of pressure treated lumber back in 1996. That structure faithfully served its time and a new structure from Playground Planners was installed at the end of October.

The students were very fond of the old structure and were saddened to see it go. But that sadness was soon replaced with excitement when they had the chance to finally play and discover on the new playground equipment.

Thank you to the playground committee who spent countless hours on research, planning, fundraising and laying the groundwork for the final structure. Although majority of the project has been paid for there are still some ongoing maintenance and costs needed. Ongoing donations toward this project are still being accepted.
