Principal's Greeting

Thank you for your interest in the educational opportunities available at Sonrise Christian Academy. Since 1986 our school has been offering quality Christian education to families in Prince Edward County. At Sonrise we proved a nurturing Christ-centred learning environment that allows each child to grow to their full potential both academically and spiritually.

Should you decide to enroll your child(ren) in our school, your child will have the opportunity to participate in and enjoy many interesting and rewarding experiences. The small class sizes allow for individualized attention and the opportunity to participate more fully in class lessons. We have dedicated and caring teachers that are committed to the unique needs of each student. Most importantly, your child will be educated from a Biblical worldview with God being first and foremost.

I believe firmly that in order to learn you need to be able to take risks. A risk to try something new, to raise your hand and answer a question or offer an opinion, to sing a solo, or share your speech, the list could go on and on. Our small class sizes and family like atmosphere provide students with a welcoming, supportive and caring environment that enable students to take those necessary risks.
